About Naya Somanya

Founder of PoleBait & Creator of The Fluid Body Method

Born from Survival. Built for Power.

“POLEBAIT ISN’T JUST A POLE STUDIO OR CLASS — IT’S IDENTITY RECLAMATION.”

I didn’t plan to become a pole dancer. I fell into it… mid-survival, still clawing my way out of a narcissistic, abusive situationship that left me questioning my worth, my voice, and my place in the world.

What started as an outlet became an awakening.

Through pole, I rediscovered parts of myself that had gone silent. the strength behind softness, the confidence hidden in stillness, the power in simply choosing myself again and again.

PoleBait was born from that transformation… not for clout, but for survival.
It’s for those rewriting their story through movement.
For the ones who are ready to meet the parts of themselves they’ve buried under survival, shame, or silence.

Today, my work — both in private and group coaching — bridges artistry, psychology, and somatics. I help people move differently so they can live differently. I Believe when you start to inhabit your body with intention, your entire life starts to re-align.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: THE FLUID BODY METHOD

our work isn’t just about teaching pole. it’s about helping people remember their aliveness.

Every prompt, every cue, every task is designed to hold up a mirror. Being disconnected from your body isn’t a flaw, it’s a message. When someone hesitates, overthinks, or hides, I see a story of liberation unfolding in real time…not a lack of skill.

Perfecting the pole technique is the beginning, not the destination. I Blend real pole training with somatic exercises to unlock something deeper, using movement as a portal back to self.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s presence — To make each person the protagonist of their own story and to ask the most important question a body can answer:

Who are you when you are free?

Pole is just the bait.
Presence is what you reel in.
