Studio Conduct & Booking Policies
Welcome. Please read this fully before your first session.
We're a private boutique studio, which means small classes, intentional space, and a protocol that exists to protect the experience for you and everyone in the room. The notes below aren't formalities. They're how we keep the studio safe, focused, and worth the trip.
Before You Arrive
When you book, you'll receive a link to polebait.com/polebait-haus with the password provided in your confirmation email. That page holds your studio address, building access details, and everything else you need to find us. Please open it and read it before you head over.
We're a private space, not a storefront, so this step isn't optional. If you skip it, you won't know how to access the building, and getting to your session becomes harder than it needs to be.
Arrival
Plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. Use that time to settle, change, and arrive in your body before we begin.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your session start time, you will not be admitted. This protects the flow of class for everyone already inside. We offer a one-time courtesy reschedule. After that, any missed sessions are forfeited, including sessions from class packages.
Cancellations and reschedules must be made at least 24 hours before your session start time. You can reschedule yourself through your confirmation email. Inside the 24-hour window, the session is forfeited, including sessions from class packages.
Liability Waiver
You must sign your liability waiver before your first session. Without it, you won't be able to participate. The waiver only needs to be signed once, so after it's done, you're set for every future booking.
What to Wear
Pole work depends on skin contact with the apparatus, so a few details matter:
No lotions, oils, or heavy moisturizers on the day of your session. They make the pole slippery and unsafe.
No jewelry. Please remove rings, bracelets, watches, and any necklaces that move. They can scratch the pole, snag on skin, or catch mid-movement.
Form-fitting activewear is ideal. Shorts that expose the backs of your knees and inner thighs give you the most grip.
Grounds for Removal
Some behaviors are non-negotiable. Any of the following will result in a permanent ban from booking with PoleBait, with no refund issued for unused sessions or remaining class package credits.
Disrupting the studio. This includes arriving without a confirmed booking, showing up unannounced, or interfering with a session already in progress.
Harassment of any kind. This means making any student, instructor, or guest feel unsafe or uncomfortable in the space. It includes unwanted physical contact, comments about another person's body or appearance, pressuring anyone into something they did not agree to, and recording or photographing any person in the studio without their explicit consent.
Verbal or physical assault. Toward students, instructors, staff, or anyone present in the studio. No warnings, no exceptions.
Bringing unauthorized guests. Private and 1:1 sessions are for the booked student only, and any guest must be approved by us in advance. Open Pole sessions allow up to two guests per student. Bringing more than the permitted number, or bringing anyone who has not been approved when approval is required, will result in a ban.
Booking outside your purchased package. Class packages are limited to the exact number of sessions purchased and are non-transferable. Booking additional sessions you have not paid for, whether by mistake or otherwise, will result in a ban. It is the booker's responsibility to track their remaining sessions.
