PoleBait Pole Rental Agreement + Liability Waiver
By renting equipment from PoleBait LLC (“PoleBait”), you (“Renter”) agree to the terms below.
This agreement applies to all pole rentals, including:
professional productions + tours
rehearsals + studios
private events + residences
commercial + retail rentals
1) RENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
The person/company listed on the invoice is fully responsible for:
the pole equipment during the entire rental period
all users operating the equipment
any damages, theft, misuse, or loss
PoleBait reserves the right to deny service if a location or setup appears unsafe.
2) ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Pole dancing and pole training involve inherent risks, including (but not limited to):
falls, slips, collisions
sprains, strains, fractures
serious injury or death
You understand and accept full responsibility for all risk related to using rented equipment.
3) RELEASE OF LIABILITY
You agree to release and hold harmless PoleBait LLC, Naya Taylor, and all affiliates/contractors from any claims, liability, injury, damages, or loss that may occur during the rental period — including injuries to participants, guests, talent, crew, or third parties.
4) EQUIPMENT USE RULES (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
To protect safety and equipment integrity, the following is required:
Equipment must be used indoors or in safe outdoor conditions only
Poles must be placed on flat, stable surfaces
Poles may not be used in wet conditions, sand, or unstable terrain
No modifications, disassembly, or unauthorized repairs
No use while impaired (alcohol/drugs)
If rules are violated, PoleBait may terminate the rental with no refund.
5) DAMAGE, LOSS, OR THEFT
Renter is financially responsible for:
any equipment damage
missing parts
excessive wear beyond normal use
theft or loss
PoleBait may charge for repair, replacement, and/or equipment downtime.
6) DELIVERY, SETUP + STRIKE
Most rentals include some level of coordination and logistics planning.
If delivery/setup/strike is included in your booking, you agree to:
provide accurate access details (parking, stairs, elevators, entry rules)
confirm setup + strike windows in advance
ensure a contact person is available on-site
Delays caused by the venue, access restrictions, or missing point-of-contact may result in additional fees.
7) PAYMENT TERMS + DEPOSIT POLICY
Rentals must be paid in full before delivery/pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A 20% deposit is included in your total rental cost.
Once your booking is confirmed, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
If the rental is canceled after confirmation, PoleBait will retain 20% of the total as the deposit.
8) CANCELLATIONS + RESCHEDULING
PoleBait operates with limited inventory + crew availability. Because of this:
No-shows are non-refundable
Cancellations within the final scheduling window may not be eligible for reschedule
Rescheduling is not guaranteed and is based on availability
If PoleBait must cancel due to emergency or unforeseen logistics issues, you will be offered either:
reschedule (if possible) OR
refund for the unused portion of the rental
9) SHIPPING + OUT-OF-STATE RENTALS (WHEN APPLICABLE)
For rentals outside Los Angeles / out of state, shipping and transport logistics must be arranged in advance.
If PoleBait agrees to coordinate transport, Renter acknowledges:
additional fees apply
timelines may shift due to freight and scheduling conditions
Renter is still responsible for equipment safety once received
10) INSURANCE (PRODUCTIONS + COMMERCIAL BOOKINGS)
For professional productions, venues, or high-value commercial rentals, PoleBait may require:
proof of production insurance
a certificate of insurance (COI) listing PoleBait LLC as additionally insured
This is determined case-by-case depending on booking size, risk level, and location.
11) MEDIA / CREDIT
PoleBait may request that clients credit PoleBait for installs when appropriate (not required for private/corporate or confidentiality-based bookings).
PoleBait respects privacy and does not publicly list all rentals.
