Body Awakening: Sensual Deep Dive
This lesson is a Body Awakening sequence designed to wake up your sensual instincts — not "sexy," but open to the experience of your own body: what it feels like, what it wants, what's already happening inside it. You'll move slowly through a full somatic warm-up, then take it to the pole to explore two prompts that drop you into sensation, closing with a freeflow that's entirely your own.
The Sensation Layer is the heart of this practice. After the body is warm, you'll learn a short, simple sequence and run it twice — once through each of two prompts. Same movement, different attention. The first prompt, hand-led exploration, invites one hand to explore the body and the pole, letting your hands decide the timing instead of your head. The second, micro to full, starts with a quiet sensation and lets it grow and soften with each breath, allowing sensation to decide the size rather than choreography. This is how the prompts integrate: the movement stays the same, but where you place your attention transforms the experience.
How to integrate this into your practice
Return to this sequence any time you feel disconnected from your body or stuck in "doing it right." Run it through one prompt on its own, or move freely for a full minute and notice what shifts. The goal isn't precision. It's attention. Ask yourself: are you aware of more of your body now than when you started?
